Welcome to FLASHPOINT'S web page. FLASHPOINT has been delighting audiences with their blend of Sizzling Jazz, Contemporary Jazz, and Fusion in South Florida for more than a decade. Right now FLASHPOINT is back in the studio, again working with award winning producer Gary M. Vandy (who has a warehouse of gold records), recording our second CD. Since we are concentrating mainly on recording, we are performing fewer live performances for the time being. As soon as our CD is released we will be going full steam ahead.
Flashpoint has made a few changes in the line up of their group, which are the first changes in over ten years.

We would like to congratulate our percussionist Ignacio Nunez who also plays with the band Bacilos,for receiving a Grammy for the Best Latin Pop, and two grammys at the Latin Grammys.
FLASHPOINT was created in 1991 by two firefighter/musicians(Paul Messina & George Schoendorfer). Their first CD "Cool Heat" is available for purchase by clicking on one of the links or at any of Flashpoint's live performances.The members of the band on "Cool Heat" were:
